As in "alternative-furniture". Alternature is a small company based in the the town of
Redruth, as part of the creative community that is The Old Grammar School.
Alternature specialises in sustainable products and eco-design and offers a range of
stunning products from boot stands to custom contemporary furniture all hand
crafted in Cornwall.

Run by Tristan Harris, a 'Sustainable Design' graduate of University College
Falmouth. Alternature is keen to produce products with minimal environmental
impact, considering everything from the construction to the packaging. We support
local business using Cornish Oak and source our additional materials as close as
possible. Everything is made in house to ensure you get the best quality product
possible.
Alternature's product range:
We offer Welly boot stands with the option of Pine or Oak which are available in a
range of sizes. As well as this we also produce wall mounted boot holders in a range
of sizes and materials. Great gifts designed, crafted and sent straight from Cornwall.
Our product range is expanding quickly. We now offer Oak framing, storage for
shoes and boots in both Pine and Oak. Our range of conceptual furniture is exquiste
and totally unique to us. Sure to catch the eye for its quality as well as quirky design.
We have a background in furniture design and as such are able to produce anything
you may require be it a chair, table, mirror......just ask for a free quotation.
Above all Alternature is committed to good design, quality materials and excellent
